What's it all about?:
Our course shows you how to present and handle information using the computer. You will come to understand how you can make the most of your computer's software and hardware. We will show you how best to use your newfound skills in the working environment of IT, both in business, and at home.

This course is run in conjunction with the IT (Level 2), National Certificate - OCR.

Progression:
This course will open doors in a range of entry level careers. You may be able to progress to the OCR National Certificate in IT (Level 2) and then the BTEC national award/diploma course or level 3 courses in other subjects at the College.

There are no specific entry requirements. However you will be invited to an informal interview to assess your suitability for the course.

Units studied include:

*multimedia products with sound and video

*webpage creation

*ICT skills for business.

Are there any exams?:
Assessment will include projects, assignments, case studies and other coursework. There is also a requirement to complete key skills at level 1 and a sustainability unit.
