More information
History
Jam Theatre Company was formed in 2005 by Jo Noel-Hartley and Mark Hartley. Both had worked in the music and theatre industry professionally and had now come to amalgamate their knowledge and experience to form Jam Theatre.
Description
Besides their immense experience in the music industry, TV and touring theatre shows around the UK, Jam Theatre is heavily involved with the Creative & Media Diploma and Edexel BTEC courses, and Mark was chosen by the worlds leading educational publishers Pearsons, to write performing arts, music & media student handbooks for 14-19 yrs, and Jam Theatre has recently been featured on DVD for Pearsons Publishers. Jam is currently ‘in residence’ at Sir William Borlase’s Grammar School, Marlow, Buckinghamshire. Jam has a passion to produce commercial theatre that entertains and challenges new audiences, both nationally and locally. Jam recognises the importance in encouraging a ‘film going’ younger audience back into the theatre, to experience live performance art at its very best. Jam believes theatre should be magical.Training and equipping is at the heart of Jam Theatre, be it professionals or those wanting the unleash their theatrical side.
