Course programme

This multi media course will examine how the Jewish imagination, freed from the constraints of the Ghetto and the Community was instrumental in shaping the movements that changed the modern world; Nationalism, Socialism, Capitalism and Liberalism. From the capitals of the old world to the cities of the new, Jews were pivotal in reshaping the West with all its dangers and opportunities. In the process they were forced to re-examine their own identities.
