Course programme
Whilst there are no formal entry requirements applicants will need to attend a workshop and undertake an initial assessment and interview in order to demonstrate the ability to study at this level. Previous qialifications and experience will be taken into account but these are not essential.
You will explore media in both practise and theory via a range of units focused on developing your knowledge of professional writing, technical skills, society and the law. The specific units included are subject to confirmation.
You will be assessed using essays, reports, creative writing and presentations. There are no exams or tests on this course.
Students can progress onto Higher National Diplomas and Foundation and Honours degrees in subjects including Media Studies, Journalism, Sports Journalism, English, Publishing and Linguistics.
