The Junior Jazz College is an education programme for young and gifted jazz musicians from age 12 to 18, providing prospective students the opportunity to learn to play together, to learn to play solos, to acquaint themselves with the jazz repertoire and to gain stage experience.

Course programme
For exceptionally gifted musicians age 12-18 the Conservatory has designed the young talents programme Junior Jazz College.
The Conservatorium van Amsterdam has set up the Junior Jazz College, an education programme to prepare young and gifted jazz musicians from age 12-18 for the Conservatory entrance examination. This programme gives prospective students the opportunity to learn to play together, to learn to play solos, to acquaint themselves with the jazz repertoire and to gain stage experience.
The education programme offers principal private lessons for the instruments trumpet, trombone, saxophone, piano, voice, bass, guitar and drums. Do you play a different instrument? Then contact us to discuss the possibilities. In addition to this there are ear training and theory group lessons.
