Course programme
Consisting of 3 theory modules 3 confined water modules, followed up by 2 dives in open water from shore and boat. The formal training takes 2 to 3 days, either consecutive, split up, evenings or weekends. Candidates can upgrade at any time to Open Water Diver.
We have a private pool for practice that allows plenty of time to build confidence without pressure or distractions.
Our classes are small never more than 4 participants on the course and 2:1 ratio of instructor to trainee in the open water.
Weather depending you will either be diving from a fully MCA licensed dive boat in the most beautiful and unique marine environment in the UK, or from the shore at the Llys-y-Fran reservoir deep in the Preseli Mountains.
This certification allows the bearer to participate in our exciting dive trips accompanied by a dive professional, around the fascinating waters of Pembrokeshire.
It is also a requirement in order to hire or purchase diving equipment, obtain air fills and go on to higher levels of diver training anywhere in the world.
We send you the course materials before you arrive in Pembrokeshire, then study at your own pace and get down to the actual diving sooner when you arrive here !
We use all the latest digital teaching aids to enhance the theory presentations and and have the best diving equipment available.
