Poor Evaluation levels = one week lost!

About the course:
I was really disappointed at the course, firstly because I had classes where I saw again the same thing twice. Two because I waited 3 weeks to get my code to access the website (for review). And three because my teacher did not change my level. So I performed the test to change levels (I managed) so I lost a week in a group that is not me at all! Apart from that the host family was great! Apart from that I have nothing to say!

About the course:
I followed in Adelaide English classes for four months with professors Kaplan. I appreciated the availability and professionalism of this school. Age 58 years, I was apprehensive about my integration in school because I was expecting to find very young groups. Everything is made to feel at ease and to find its place in different ability groups. Assessments are very well done in order to evolve and change levels.
Thank you for this rewarding experience.

La scuola è piccola my abbastanza ben organizzata. Purtroppo qualcuno per i corsi sono al pomeriggio così, io facendo it corso intensivo, avevo una lezione slab 11.45 alle 13.00 e poi tutto il pomeriggio slab 14.30 alle 17.45, sinceramente quell'ora has not ero molto ricettiva.
Scuola non ha un giardino come Dichiara my una piccola terrazza esterna con alcuni tavolini. It quartiere dove è è molto grazioso e situata the cittadina sul mare è incantevole, piena di verde e con lunghe spiagge.
La famiglia è stata molto accogliente, bella e la stanza comoda it cibo buono e abbondante. La casa if trovava 15 minuti a piedi dalla scuola.
C'erano tantissimi Giovani di ogni nazionalità ovviamente reed molti Italiani ... my si può anche lontano stargli .... !!
E 'stata una bella esperienza, the Consiglio. Io sono stata due settimane ad agosto.

About the course:
I'll share my sad experience with the school organization Coral Gables (Miami). Let's start with the positives. The courses are of good quality with motivated teachers and very teacher. The school is well equipped with a computer room and digital paintings very practice for learning a language.
Let the downside is that everything is complicated: The proposed Housing in Ponce de Leon hotel is really unacceptable! The hotel is not even worthy of a 1 star hotel in France. The room stinks of moldy (high humidity in Miami), the essential air conditioning here is VERY VERY noisy and walking and finally has half the kitchenette promised by the body comes down to a minibar fridge (impossible to put a large bottle, for example) and a microwave. To top it off, the maid is gone after my application after 2 weeks to change the sheets. A 1000 euros a month it is a real shame!
This is where things get complicated with the school I ask another dwelling impossible for the school to help me, then I request a refund of the remaining month that Kaplan France refused on the grounds that in the general conditions of sale it is notified that an 8-week notice is applied. In short, having found another solution I have just lost nearly 3,000 euros in the first home.
BUT, the worst is to come .... At least in January unfortunately I fall sick I finished in the hospital and missed nine days of the course, I warn school but nothing there ... My stewardship falls less than 80% to 76.9 exactly, the school then report me to the government that excludes me directly from a territory with a delay of 7 days. Yet I bring all receipts, certificate from the hospital etc ... They want to hear or accept proof pretext that the government refuse what is totally wrong elsewhere.
So I turn back to Kaplan France. They will not even listened to me brings me no solution and are also very rude including 'commercial'. I request the manager who avoids all my calls. The school promises me a solution and makes me wait After 1 month without news. I have to constantly restart but nothing happens. Do me that remaining 2 months of classes they played shows boats leading me to lose much time. In the end, no transfer possible in another country, no refunds. Pressure from their very strong hand to make me leave the territory as soon as possible. The 'commercial' very courteous before payment of school transform once the transfer is made.
In short, Kaplan who nevertheless has an educational role to play not to live up to its promises. This company advocates the teaching is nothing but a 'cash machine' American. Attention to the Terms of Sale of 10 pages.

great place to meet foreign exchange and Kaplan not up to the price residence (no housekeeper, no vacuuming, no not brush clean the apartment, washing machines pay) for 1100 euros per month that is still outstanding. Kaplan insurance not in either height (no advance expenses) 39 euros per week or 156 euros per month, not normal either.

I had paid for business English courses, which is why I chose this destination and the class has been removed the week before my arrival. They offered some tutoring but not enough to make up for the price I paid. I asked to be more and they refused. Despite many claims on my return, I had no compensation
I do not recommend this school, which is there to make money without meet its contractual commitments (I do not even talk to care about the satisfaction of the students)

I left 2 months at Golden West College in Huntington Beach, California, is one of the best experiences I've made and I'm 28 !!!
Teachers are extras and motivating. Course materials are very well suited.

Kaplan in Auckland is a very good school to learn English: the city is cool, the building is beautiful, the teachers are very friendly and students too! The courses are really interesting and adjusted to your level, you can also go to 'study center' and lead you on computers, reading English books or watching movies! great experience

I spent 6 beautiful, rich and intense in San Francisco.
The KI SF team is so amazing. Everything is done so that everyone progresses in English.
The proposed activities are intéressanes (city tour, cooking clubs, movies, TED ...).
Moreover Expedition America offers weekends in Los Angeles and Las Vegas who really are worth a visit.
San Francisco is certainly an expensive city, but remains a beautiful city where you can take the cable car, walk the Golden Gate Bridge, discovering different cultures in the famous neighborhoods (Chinatown, Japantown, Little Italia ....) Alcatraz discover, relax in beautiful parks ...
I recommend everyone this total immersion.

Unbelievable
I stayed one week with a friend but it was truly unforgettable. The courses were interesting and helped me to improve my English. The teachers and the Kaplan staff are very open and are willing to help if needed.
The food is good and cheap.
And I got to know more people from around the world, it was very rewarding.
I lived with a host family who was very friendly and attentive.
Everything went very well and I had a great experience, to do again.
