2. Course description Cambridge Technical Diplomas emphasise 'learning by doing' assessment methods involve written assignments and practical work. They are vocational courses, so you can learn about a particular job area within the Performing Arts Industry and gain the skills necessary to go on to work in this field of employment. They are Level 2 courses, the equivalent to 4 GCSE's, and are recognised by Higher Education providers and employers. The Level 2 Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) is a one-year course. You can study it alongside three other subjects, depending on your GCSE grades and timetable.
