Lalapanzi Health Beauty Education is a family run Salon and Private beauty/holistic education centre in the heart of Banbridge. The business is run by two sisters who originate from Southern Africa but who have strong family connections to Ireland and made their home in Northern Ireland some 7 years ago. Laura Rutherfoord-Jones and Kathy Casey have worked in the beauty/holistic and education sectors of the beauty industry whilst settling into life in Northern Ireland and have now decided that the time is right to branch out on their own.The name Lalapanzi was chosen to conjure up the image of relaxation, peace and quiet, and is pronounced La-la-pun-zi. It is derived from a Zulu word meaning to ‘lie down’ or ‘to sleep’. The Baobab tree emblem is known as the ‘Tree of Life’ in Africa and also embodies the ‘Tree of Knowledge...

We are a family run Beauty Salon and private beauty / holistic education centre in the heart of Banbridge Northern Ireland.We offer ITEC (International Therapy Examinations Council) and CIBTAC qualifications. Once qualified, students will be able to work in any country in the world. All students are welcome, school leavers, mums who want to re-enter the work place, people who want a change in direction in their work life or even if you want to do a course because you have an interest in a particular subject. Male students are also welcome.The exotic African style of the salon makes it a truly ‘out of Africa’ experience. The premises are ideally situated on Commercial Road in a brand new facility. We will be introducing the Wisdom of Africa range to Northern Ireland and also offering the American Repechage Seaweed treatments....
