Lambing
This one-day course is designed to introduce the prospective sheep handler to the process of lambing and demonstrate the skills required for maximising ewe and lamb health during gestation and birth.

Overalls and wellington boots are required.

Health and Safety Alert:
No pregnant women should come into contact with pregnant/lambing ewes.

By the end of the course, you should be able to:
  • Identify the signs, and onset of, lambing.
  • Assist a ewe during lambing.
  • Provide lambing after-care for both ewe and lamb.
