About this course
This must include at least 64 points from 2 A Levels or equivalent BTEC qualifications. You also must have an A level in German or an AS level at grade C in German. For example:BBC at A Level including an A level in German A combination of qualifications, which may include AS levels, EPQ and general studies, with an A Level in German or AS level grade C in German.

Course programme
Expand your language skills, whilst gaining critical insight into a range of topics related to the theory and practice of tourism management, necessary to become a multilingual professional. Study and work abroad for 18 months, developing transferable skills on an international level and giving you a competitive advantage upon graduation.
This course employs a variety of innovative learning and teaching methods within the vibrant, dynamic setting of Sheffield Business School, an internationally-recognised centre of teaching excellence which attracts students and academics from all over the world.

Work placements
As part of your course you will spend 11 months on a work placement in a relevant organisation based in one of the two languages you study. Your placement is a great opportunity to gain valuable international tourism experience. It helps you develop your skills and foreign language ability and significantly enhances your employability.
You will have the opportunity to apply for placements with international companies such as Casamundo in Hamburg and Steigenberg Hotels AG in Frankfurt.
