Law A2 Level AQA

Studying law will enable you to develop your interest and enjoyment of this subject through the study of challenging areas of law. You will develop analytical skills by tackling case studies. The aim is to relate as far as possible to everyday situations

A2 Unit 3: Contract Law -This unit deals with formation of contract, breach, rights and remedies under the contract. Case scenarios will test students' analytical skills, exam in January.
A2 Unit 4: Tort Law and Concepts of Law- This unit covers negligence, nuisance ands trespass.
Concepts of Law -This is a synoptic unit and will involve re-studying elements of units 1-5. Law and Morals and Law and Justice will also be looked at. Students will be expected to read quality newspapers and be aware of current issues.
How will I be assessed?
A2 Unit 3: Contract Law -1 hour 30 minutes exam.
A2 Unit 4:- Tort law and Concepts of Law 2 hour exam.
