It provides opportunities within areas of employment which require legal knowledge but not a Qualifying Law Degree ( QLD). You will receive advice and guidance on option selection and careers advice from the dedicated Law School Careers Guidance Adviser.
Upon successful completion of the BA (Hons) Law Studies you may wish to progress onto the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) / Common Professional Examination (CPE) award to attain your qualifying Law Degree. This will enable you to pursue a career as a Solicitor or Barrister should you choose to do so. As you will have successfully completed compulsory modules from the LL.B award and you may have chosen to study other LL.B compulsory modules as your elective choices, you will be entitled to exemption for the modules completed. This, coupled with the Staffordshire University Alumni Discount (15%) will significantly reduce the cost for you.
