Course review:
This computer based 2 day course run by an experienced City banker covers the strategic and financial reasons for LBO’s. You will value the target business using multiples and acquisition arithmetic to calculate goodwill and forecast a proforma balance sheet in order to determine the most appropriate sources of debt and equity finance.
The model will be finished by completing the cashflow and debt & interest schedules. Finally, you will calculate exit values and the IRRs generated by each investor. Using the integrated model you will then apply sensitivity analysis to derive the optimum financing structure taking into account the financial constraints of each investor.
Run by a former manager at Deutsche Bank and Cazenove this course uses a variety of real life case studies and exercises.
