About this course
This course is free if you are aged between 19 and 23 and you don’t yet have a full level 2 or 3 qualification (dependant on your level of study). Otherwise, a fee is payable. You need to be in full-time employment in the related industry and have your manager’s permission to take the course. Additionally GCSE grade 4/C or equivalent in maths and English is desirable. The aim of the course is to develop your skills as a manager and give you confidence in working managing a team in any organisational setting. The programme will require you to complete a level 5 Award in Leadership and Management. This is a module taught programme which is supported by assignments. This is delivered via a trainer. The units are based around developing management and leadership skills, managing a team as well as managing customer relationships.
