Leadership and Management (Sport) - Foundation Degree

Modules will include: Introduction to Leadership and Management Sector Contexts Managing Resources Finance and Marketing for Managers Coaching Pedagogy Inclusive Recreation Project Management Managing People and Performance Strategy Innovation and Enterprise Work Related Learning Professional Development You will develop a range of academic skills such as presenting, referencing, research and writing, as well as many skills required by employers such as communication, use of IT, teamwork, independent work and dealing with the general public. This course will be delivered at the University Centre (formerly College House), with pathway specific modules being taught at the Horsforth Campus. A GCSE grade C in English, or equivalent, is also required. However, candidates receiving this offer will have experience in their chosen subject area.
