A new age is coming for office activities in industrial property rights: The 'digital age' has arrived. Has the good old paper workflow served its days? What about the new 'digital workflow'? Existing procedures/processes overlap with new procedures/processes. What does it mean for the office in industrial property right, in particular? How can we learn to let go and forget to be free for new LEARNING? What has LEAN administration to do with digitization? At the second glance, it becomes apparent: quite a lot! - The course objective is, in a 'very' short period of time, to ACTIVELY start using Lean administration to contemplate procedures and processes reversely and to find out which procedures are 'redundant' and not necessary (anymore). - In this context the contemplation of neighboring departments and interfaces is important, an excursus into interdisciplinary and international communication. We are contemplating the opportunities and limits of the new working world, agile project management, change management, time management, and knowledge management.
