The Legal Practice Course (LPC) equips you with the appropriate knowledge, skills and understanding of procedures and practice to embark effectively on your internship.

This course is taught via distance learning, enabling you to study at your own time and pace. There is a one-week Foundation Course at De Montfort University in Leicester in September which includes social events. This has involved face-to-face teaching in small groups where students were able to work on realistic practical exercises.*

About this course

You should have completed the academic stage of your training by obtaining a qualifying law degree. The minimum needed is a 3rd class degree. The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) requires you to prove to us that you have a qualifying law degree. You need to do this before you start the LPC by providing us with a copy of your degree transcript.
