Course Outline:
This course provides an insight into the world of leisure and its associated industries, and offers flexibility to allow you to look at topics that are of special interest to you.
It is a practical course that will give you the opportunity to work at your own pace and take responsibility for your own work.
Method of Delivery:
You will take part in projects to investigate how the leisure industries work.
Futures Prospects:
This course can allow you to progress into Higher Education in a wide range of subjects. It also gives you a wide choice of possible future careers in the private and public sector.

Students complete modules in:

- Customer Service
- Leisure Industry Practice
- Event Management
- Human Resources
- Leisure and the Outdoors
Assessment Methodology:
Two thirds of the modules are assessed through completion of a portfolio, with the remaining units being assessed through external examinations. Assessment is continuous throughout the school year.
