Course programme

Course Content: You will be given an overview of the various methods of patchwork. Demonstrations will be given of these methods and you will prepare the material and make at least one item using one of these methods. Each week demonstrations will be given of another method, e.g. English paper piecing, postage stamp patchwork, blocks, and cathedral windows. You will have the opportunity to start another project using a different method. How will I be assessed? There is no formal assessment. However, the tutor will observe you and give feedback during the lessons. Are there any additional costs or specialist equipment required? Please bring with you: Material (preferably cotton) Thread for sewing and for tacking Sewing needles Ruler, pencil and paper scissors What can I do after this course? Further Study Further learning opportunities are to be announced.
