About this course
For anyone who has a reasonably confident grasp of speaking Spanish, can understand and respond to simple vocabulary in everyday use and who would like to further develop their confidence in speaking and listening in Spanish.
You will be reasonably confident in speaking and listening in Spanish. You will be able to understand and use the simplest ways of expressing past, present and future and you will have a reasonably confident grasp of everyday vocabulary and key functional language and be able to converse with native speakers reasonably confidently. You will have studied an Improvers level course and have studied Spanish for approximately 60 hours.

How will I learn?
You will learn through a variety of speaking and listening learning strategies using stimulus material such as film. The focus of the course is upon speaking and listening in pairs and small groups.
How will my progress be monitored and assessed?
There is no formal assessment for the course. The tutor will continually assess your progress and offer constructive feedback.

What other support is available?
Help with numeracy or literacy is available. ICT drop-in sessions are available during term time and are open to all learners. Additional support can be provided for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Learner Support Funding is available for equipment, childcare and travel to learners who qualify. Regional variations in Spain and South America
Food : Cultural variations.
Film and music.
Everyday topics such as travel, transport, eating out.
