Course programme

If you are looking for a career in the travel industry, this programme is the ideal starting point. It provides you with an opportunity to develop a range of practical skills and underpinning knowledge required to work in the industry or to progress to further study.
City and Guilds Level 1 Diploma – Introduction to the Travel and Tourism Industry;
Level 1 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
Assessment for the Diploma is via coursework and two end of unit examinations that contain multiple choice questions. Coursework may take the form of written assessments; short presentations on given topics; practical role-play or group work for each unit.
For the Functional Skills qualifications you will sit short exams.
