Course programme
The aim of this course is to provide basic first aid.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide ‘adequate and appropriate’ equipment, facilities and personnel (suitably trained) to enable First Aid to be given. As a minimum an employer must provide:
- A suitably stocked first aid box
- An appointed person to take charge of first aid arrangements
- Notices informing employees where the First Aid Box is located and who is the appointed person
This is a certificated course which is accredited with the CIEH
