This course is designed for those who have an ambition for a career in the beauty therapy industry. It covers all the basic beauty therapy treatments and will provide you with a good base from which you could progress to further courses.

During the course you will develop practical expertise and essential knowledge of the industry.

Practical Skills & Treatments: please be aware that as part of your practical lessons students learn the treatments on each other. Further development is then performed on paying clients which is part of the assessment process.

About this course

Those with a passion for Beauty Therapy who want to pursue a career into the Beauty Therapy industry.

You will require a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades 9-3 including Science, English and Maths (formerly A*- D). You will also be invited to a skills day as part of your interview for this program, to ascertain your dexterity skills on a given task.

VTCT

Progression to suitable qualifications such as the Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments or Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Beauty Studies will be discussed during progression week in the third term. We also offer short courses through the Beauty Guild, which may enhance your portfolio.
