Level 2 Diploma in Make-up Studies

The aim of the course is to provide a programme of training leading to a nationally recognised professional qualification for individuals who would like to work within the beauty and make-up industry. During the course, you will cover a range of units including facial skincare, photographic make-up, apply make-up, eyelash and eyebrow treatments, applying skin tanning, body art and nail art.

As part of your study programme here at the College alongside your chosen course you will complete a maths and/or English qualification if you have not already achieved a grade C or above. (This will be a GCSE for all students with a grade D).

The study programme will also incorporate a range of work related experience activities to ensure that you have the breadth of skills required to
progress to further/higher education, employment or an apprenticeship.
