Level 2 ESOL

This course is aimed at people who can confidently speak, read and write English and would like to improve their knowledge and understanding.

Successful completion of this qualification may help you to access additional educational and employment opportunities.

There are no formal qualifications, but an interview and assessment will take place
to determine the correct level for you.

YYou are taught to extend your use of reading, writing, speaking and listening in English. You will be taught the use of English grammar and how to improve your use of tenses. You will be given the opportunity to read a wide range of texts, make presentations, take part in discussions and write formal reports and letters.

You have to attend college for two 3 hour sessions each week depending on your course schedule. We run courses in the mornings or evenings and, subject to availability, you can choose which session to attend.

Once you have chosen a session you will need to always attend at this time.

After successfully completing this Level 2 course you may choose to progress into Further or Higher education or use your new skills to improve your employment prospects.
