The Advanced Apprenticeship will focus on light vehicle diagnostic processes, fault finding and equipment including industry specific units, such as:
•   Diagnose and Rectify Vehicle Engine Systems and Component Faults
•   Diagnose and Rectify Vehicle Transmission and Drive-line System Faults
•   Diagnose and Rectify Light Vehicle Chassis System Faults
•   Inspecting Light Vehicles Using Prescribed Methods

Apprentices build a portfolio of work and have on-site visits to observe their ability and skills in their daily role.

About this course




The majority of work will be completed in the workplace however attendance at college is required one day a week to undertake theory and practical sessions.

Additional college attendance will be required to complete functional skills (if needed).
