About the Course
This course is for anyone wishing to assess qualifications in the lifelong learning sector in the work environment and/or simulated environments. Specifically it is for those who assess in the work environment, using the assessment methods for learners’ work activities, i.e. observation of performance in the work environment, examining products of work, questioning the learner, using professional discussions, using others (witness testimony), looking at learner statements and recognising prior learning.
The course is delivered via two initial sessions of lecture, discussion and practical exercises, followed by individual support tutorials until completion of the award.
