This qualification is regulated by TQUK and undertaken online. It provides learners with the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to perform the full role of an assessor. Assessing both competence in the work environment and vocational achievement.
This qualification is equivalent to the former assessing qualifications D32/33 and A1 Award. There are three units to cover during the qualification – ‘Understanding the principles and practices of assessment’, ‘Assess occupational competence in the work environment’ and ‘Assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding’.

Qualification Assessment Activities
Assessment activities include the completion of a number of assignment, observations, expert witness testimony and evidence gathered when undertaking the assessor role.
