The course comprises: Detailed examination of the additions and changes from 16th to 17th Edition of BS7671. Preparation for City & Guilds 2382-20 multiple choice on-line assessment of 30 questions (1 hour open book). Suitable for: This course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other associated professionals. It aims to update delegates on the significant differences between the 16th and 17th editions. It will focus on the main additions and alterations that have been incorporated and will not include all the Regulations.

Delegates require a personal copy of BS 7671:2008 (red cover), as this will be used throughout the course and can be used for reference during the exam.

Course programme
This course is primarily aimed at practicing electricians with relevant experience and other associated professionals. It aims to update delegates on the significant differences between the 16th and 17th editions. It will focus on the main additions and alterations that have been incorporated and will not include all the Regulations.
Candidates must have achieved one of the following qualifications, which address the requirements of the 16th edition June 2001 BS 7671 in order to enter this qualification:
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671: June 2001 (2381), or
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Installation (Building and Structures) (2330-07), or
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology Electrical Maintenance (2330-08), or
City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Electrical Installation Part Two (2360) (from January 1st 2004 onwards only)
