The course is aimed at learners who wish to pursue a career in the civil, military or aerospace industries. It may also prepare learners for progression higher education The Level 3 Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering is 120 credit nationally recognised qualification which is designed to give the learner a specialist work related qualification as well as providing learners with a fundamental knowledge and understanding of the aerospace industry. Alongside this you will also study the Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate Qualification.


A ‘PP’ in year 2 is the equivalent of an ‘EE’ at A level ie 80 UCAS points A ‘D*D*’ in year 2 is the equivalent of an ‘A*A*’ at A level ie 280 UCAS points
