2. Course description Summary: This is a client-facing, multi-disciplinary course that prepares your for a career in fashion. Course description: This course provides an opportunity for those with an interest in fashion to explore, develop and test their creativity within a qualification structure which is stimulating and demanding and provides a supportive transition from general to more specialised study. Students will be based on campus, with the opportunity to access our retail and training space within Chapelfield, Norwich. Entry requirements: 4 GCSE's at C or above including English & Maths. A relevant Level 2 Diploma (e.g. UAL Level 2 Art & Design) plus GCSE English and Maths. Learning outcome: The course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge, skills and understanding necessary to access and progress to degree level study or employment within the fashion industry. Objective: Students will study the principles of fashion business and retail, fashion production and supply chain, fashion buying and merchandising , fashion management and marketing and visual merchandising. In addition students complete a collaborative fashion retail project. Assessment: Coursework and project-based with external assessment.
