It is mandatory that all students maintain their practical make-up skills and undertake external work experience in a theatrical or photographic setting. 30 hours minimum requirement.


  • 4 GCSEs at grade C or above
  • Level 2 make up, beauty therapy certificate/diploma, hairdressing certificate or equivalent is desirable
  • A successful interview demonstrating interest, enthusiasm and commitment
  • A mature attitude
  • An interest in film, theatre or the arts is an advantage
