This course consists of the following accredited qualifications: • Level 3 60 credit Subsidiary Diploma in Engineering • Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Performing Engineering Operations • Post 16 level 2 Welsh Baccalaureate • Essential Skills Wales qualifications in communications, application of number, and ICT at levels 2 or above • Key Skills qualifications in Improving Own Learning and Performance (IOLP) and Working With Others (WWO) at levels 2 or above
Because of the demanding content of this programme, the course is delivered over 30 hours per week. You will also be required to attend five weeks placement, working in an engineering environment. These periods will take place during half term holidays and the arrangements will be made by the college.
