The Diploma in Performing Arts is a 1-year three AS Level equivalent course. This course is designed for those interested in acting, dance, and singing. It offers the chance to study for a nationally recognised Performing Arts qualification, which will allow you to develop a range of skills required for performance in the medium of theatre.

Regular visits to productions are undertaken. The course introduces a range of performance disciplines, which enables you to make a choice of a specialist pathway.

5 GCSE’s at grades A*-C including English and Maths with AS Level Drama A*-C, or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in a creative related subject.

You will be invited to attend an interview with a portfolio of your art/ design work. You will also be required to undertake an initial assessment in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required.
