Please Note - These fees are for the 2016/17 Academic Year and are subject to change annually. Please note fees are payable for each year of study.


The course provides the knowledge and skills necessary for careers in a variety of Health and Social Care settings, including Nursing, Social Work and Teaching. You will attend college three days a week; the fourth day will be on work placement. Alongside the National Diploma, you will also study the Welsh Baccalaureate, which is equivalent to one A Level.


On completion, you will leave the College with a qualification equivalent to an A Level, greatly enhancing your future opportunities.


You will require 5 GCSEs at grades A*- C, including English/Welsh, Maths and Science, or completion of a full relevant vocational programme at Level 2 with overall merit profile. Level 2 programme must also include GCSE English/Welsh, Science and Maths at grades A*-C or equivalent such as Level 2 ESW Communications and Application of Number. Plus satisfactory references


You must have satisfactory clearance with the Disclosure and Barring Service . You will be invited to attend an interview. During this interview you will undertake an assessment in literacy and numeracy to establish any support required. Applicants with appropriate experience, who do not necessarily meet the academic qualifications may be considered
