About this course
The aim of the qualification is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to manage an infant/child in an emergency and with suspected injuries and/or illnesses safely and promptly.

Able to complete practical and theory skills. Ability to get down and complete floor based work is important. We can deliver on-site in the North West for 4 to 12 staff. As for a price for a group - individual charge normally £79.
Level 3 RQF Regulated Award valid 3 years - fully recognised qualification.
Well established provider - full support to qualify. Good course colour books. prompt certificates - both A4 and plastic card certificate valid 3 years.

- Responding appropriately to burns and scalds.
- Responding appropriately to choking.
- Responding appropriately to suspected fractures.
- Responding appropriately to head, neck and back injuries.
- Recognising and responding appropriately to cases of poisoning.
- Responding appropriately to foreign bodies in eyes, ears and noses.
- Responding appropriately to eye injuries.
- Responding appropriately to bites and stings.
- Responding appropriately to the effects of extreme heat and cold.
- Responding appropriately to febrile convulsions.
- Recognising and responding appropriately to the emergency needs of children with chronic medical
