This qualification is designed to understand the role and responsibilities of a Use of Force (UoF) unit commander in accordance with PSO 1600/1601 and organisational requirements, Understand the legal requirements for health and safety that apply to the role of UoF unit commander, Understand the importance of preserving evidence, Be able to monitor and control correct levels of force being implemented.
