This level is ideal if your role involves providing specialist advice and guidance to clients, reporting to senior management and networking with associated services and managing, negotiating, training, evaluating and developing the service provision.

You will develop appropriate skills and knowledge for competent performance of your job. Develop your confidence, reflection and self-assessment skills.

You can be working employed, freelance, self-employed or as a volunteer.

Course programme

To earn this qualification, you must complete a range of mandatory and optional units, including:

•Support clients to make use of the advice and guidance service
•Stage and manage the mediation process
•Provide support for other practitioners.

You must achieve a total of 37 credits


Upon receipt of your application form we will invite you in for a free and impartial advice and guidance session to identify your needs and ensure that this qualification is right for you.

Following your Advice and Guidance session if you choose to start with us, we will assign you one of our expert qualified assessors who will agree with you a flexible and unique journey towards completion and support you through to completion of your qualification.

You will have contact with our assessor every two to three weeks with at least one face-to-face meeting per month.

You can communicate using phone, email or text and can have tutorials using Skype or web-cam.

We provide you with an easy to follow pre-prepared portfolio with clear action plans, guidelines and handouts.

You will need to work with your assessor to identify and gather evidence from your job as; produce case studies concerning the clients you work with, and answer questions in order to prove competence in your role.
