About this course
To equip the student with the knowledge and skills to be able to operate in the pre-hospital setting as a Level 4 FREC Provider
Those individuals working in the pre-hospital emergency care setting either in ambulance services, event medical providers, volunteer responders etc.
e also run FREC 4 courses for close protection operatives
Must hold an in-date Level 3 FREC or equivalent
We also run FREC 3 courses for those requiring to start their FREC pathway.
Level 4 FREC
The course is delivered by experienced Advanced Paramedic Practitioners (APP's) who work in the pre-hospital emergency care and primary care arena's. The instructors enjoy delivering training to those wishing to progress along the pre-hospital emergency care pathway

there is 20 hours pre-course reading, 40 hours on site learning with a further 125 hours post classroom phase learning
All phases must be completed in order to successfully complete the course
All candidates who completed a FREC 3 should have been issued with a course manual. if you do not have the manual we can provide one for an additional charge.
You should already have your course manual from FREC 3
you will also need to obtain the other books shown on the web site

Course programme
There is a requirement to undertake at least 20 hours pre-course reading. This may be longer if you are a slower reader. The pre-course reading is designed to prepare you for the initial course assessment on the first morning of the course.
Each day is designed to build upon your knowledge and skills in a methological order.
Following the five classroom days, you will be required to undertake at least 125 hours post classroom learning before you can be submitted for certification
