Level Four BTEC Higher National Certificate in Hair and Beauty Management

Four mandatory units:

• Management of health and safety and security in the salon
• Salon management
• Sales management in the hair and beauty sector
• Quality management of client care in the hair and beauty sector

Optional units include:

• Managing the creation of a hairstyle collection
• Physiology of ageing
• Small business enterprise
• Public relations (PR) in the hair and beauty sector

You will be assessed in a variety of ways, including written assignments, work-based assignments, work experience, practical assessment, portfolio development and presentations.

This course features traditional classroom teaching, practical lessons and e-learning, depending on the units chosen.
