Who is this course for?
Anyone who wishes to study German at a higher level.

What will I learn?
You will develop your ability to speak, write, read and listen to the language. This will include comprehension, translation and discussion skills in a number of contemporary topics.

Assessment
AS Level : this qualification is divided into two modules, which are taken separately. There is a speaking module, and a listening/reading/writing module. There will be a small piece of writing (200 - 250 words).

On Completion Achievement / Progression
Completion of the AS exams will allow you to move on to the A2 qualification. A2, along with a combination of other A2 levels, would allow you entry into higher education. Alternatively, this course will enhance your prospects in seeking employment where they may be German/Austrian/Swiss business links within an organisation.
