About this course
There is no minimum entry requirement; all you need is a camera and commitment. For entry to A2 level successful completion of the AS level is a prerequisite. To apply for this course starting in September 2010, complete a college application form and return it to the college. We will invite you to attend an interview plus a Maths and English Assessment from January 2010.

Who is this course for?
This course is for those people who want to shoot, process and print their own black and white photographs.
What will I learn?
You will learn the technical knowledge required to operate your camera properly, process your films and print top quality images in the darkroom.You will study past masters and practising photographers placing them in their social and historical context.
Assessment
The course is project based; one individual project of your choosing and another exam project where you start with a question set by the exam board.
On Completion Achievement / Progression
On successful completion of the AS level you can progress to the A2 level. On completion of this course you could progress on to higher education or set up your own photography business.
