The industry linked assessments provide students with valuable experiences to enhance their employment opportunities with high levels of students’ achievement and student progression into the sports science industry employment or onto post graduate programmes. Active learning is a key component of the programme providing a more realistic (context-based) study and problem solving in learning; confronting students with “real” problems which may be encountered in the work place.
