Course Description:
Learn how to break down the complexities of the human form into more basic building blocks and moving on to enjoy the subtleties it has to offer.
Working from a life model, and using quick sketches or drawing techniques to start with, Anna will explain the process of creating a sculpture in New Clay, a material which does not require firing, and which allows a freer way to build on and does not need an armature. A demonstration of how to build an armature will be given. The course is suitable for beginners and the more experienced.

Materials/Items to Bring:
•The cost of modelling clay is included in the course fee.
•A modelling board - at least 30cm square
•Modelling tools (some will be available for use during the course)
•Please wear comfortable, practical clothing.
