The course concentrates on developing more advanced skills in using the Database software application - Microsoft Access. The course is made up of 10 and 20 hour units that demonstrate the key functionality of the software at this level. Online delivery of the course through the internet allows learners to access course materials, exercises and assessments at a time and place that suits the individual, without the need for travelling.

Method of Assessment
All assessed work is submitted electronically to a designated e-tutor. Assessments are contextualized to demonstrate the practical applications of the skills learned in each unit.
