Course programme
The sessions are fun, challenging, and enjoyable. Working individually and in small teams, agency-style, you'll learn how to challenge conventional thinking and identify new event formats and fresh approaches.
The first part of the course considers left and right brain thinking and the creative mindset. You will be shown a number of typical event briefs and learn how to ‘read between the lines’ to best interpret the information available.
The second part of the course provides an opportunity to present back your ‘agency response’ to the brief and outline your thinking. Use of venues, staging, lights and additional technical support is covered from the designer’s perspective. You will also have the chance to review and discuss individual projects and industry experience.
This course will be taught over University of the Arts London's online platform. Each session will last two hours, home work assignments will be set for completion between classes. Please note all times are UK time (please check the local time when you book). To find out more about how online courses are taught please visit our Online Courses pages
