This course addresses the main international financial regulation and supervision issues, including the delimitation of competences between the EU and the member states.
This course covers substantial law issues: an overview of the regulatory framework applicable to all three sectors of finance with a specific emphasis on banking and securities and an overview of their contemplated changes as a result of the financial crisis. The overarching aim of the LLM in Financial Regulation is to provide a course which affords a conceptual framework for the study of financial law.
This LLM course is provided in conjunction with Henley Business School, providing a unique opportunity to acquire a combined perspective of financial and corporate law issues.
