The M.Sc. Astronomy program consists of six lecture-based courses (credit may be given for relevant graduate courses already taken), a graduate seminar series, and a research dissertation. The program provides the opportunity for students to pursue original significant research and to become world authorities in any of the areas represented by our faculty members. The program is offered in an environment that features many opportunities for student interaction with faculty and visiting researchers.
