      M.Tech.(Chemical Engineering)- Stands for Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering. Typically, a M.tech. (Chemical Engineering) is a two year course, minimum eligibility for which is a B.Tech (Chemical Engineering)or any relevant engineering degree. Chemical engineering covers designing as well as maintenance of chemical plants. Subjects studied under this degree are transfer operations, thermodynamics and design, reactions engineering and process control.

      Chemical Engineering graduates have plenty of job opportunities in manufacturing and service industries such as food, materials, specialty chemicals, plastics, power production, biotechnology, Tyre manufacturing, nanotechnology, mining process, mineral based industries, petrochemical, plants, pharmaceuticals, synthetic fibers, chemical engineering designs, nuclear energy, materials science, development of new sources of energy and even medicine.
